Enjoy Uganda Self Drive Holidays
Self drive involves the car hire for a person driving him/herself to the areas of his/her destination. Last year as a family, we decided to travel to Africa for a holiday and in this case. Our destinations included Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park and Murchison Falls National Park for a 15 days holiday. Before coming to Uganda, we had to organize our own self drive Car Rental in Uganda with a Uganda car rental agency based local company that offers best car rental information and other tourism travel tips in Uganda.
From the advice we were given before leaving our country to Uganda, a number of cars were presented to me online from where I chose. I decided to take up a Prado which was hired to us at an affordable price of $70 USD this was a 4×4 wheel drive car. On arrival to Uganda, I was presented a car on an affordable and favorable terms and conditions from their offices at Najjanankumbi located at Najja shopping center on Entebbe road.
Fortunately, I was picked up from the airport with my wife by this very car. After we started our journey to Murchison falls national park, in this case it’s my wife who drove since my priority was to experience the nature of Uganda through the open car roof from Kampala to the park. On reaching the park we had a rest at Paraa Safari Lodge, tomorrow morning we embarked into our car to start our game drives through the different areas that are within the park.
Since the weather conditions were not favorable that day, the moving through the park couldn’t be easy in case we did not go with a 4×4 wheel drive car. But this helped us to experience the world’s wilderness
