Our tour guide will pick you from a hotel in Kigali and cross you over to Uganda through Katuna Immigration boarder point to the northern sector of Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park. This scenic drive will take approximately 3 hours at a speed of 60KM/hr. Overnight stay at Gorilla Safari Lodge (luxury) / Gorilla Mist Camp (mid-range) / Bakiga Lodge (budget)

Enjoy an early morning breakfast on the next day and transfer to the park headquarters to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” while with the gorillas. The trekking may take about 1-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. You will be in the company of the gentle giants for a maximum of an hour, enjoying them feeding, playing around as you do photography. After the gorilla tracking adventure, you will drive back to Kigali and overnight stay at Mountain Gorillas view Hotel/ 5 Volcanoes Lodge (Luxury)/ Da Vinci Lodge, Gorilla Solution Lodge, Le bamboo Lodge (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget).

In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing by park warden along with your trekking gear, drinking water and packed lunch. Later proceed to the forest to track the gorillas, an activity that will take you between 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the apes in their natural wild. After meeting and staying in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of an hour, descend back to your hotel for relaxation. In the evening, you may go for nature walk or visit the Banyarwanda community. Transfer to Kisoro – Uganda, on the border town with DR Congo and Rwanda, on the foot hill of Mt.Muhavura. Dinner and overnight at Travelers rest house/ Kisoro tourist hotel.

Early morning, you will cross over to DR Congo and head to Virunga national park for the memorable adventure with the gorillas. This will be preceded by briefing from the authorities of the park, before setting off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest searching for the habituated gorilla family. You will remain close to the beautiful primates for a maximum of one hour, make observation and photography. Make sure you carry with you packed lunch and water. After the trek, you transfer back to Kigali for your flight.
