Gorilla Trekking Safari and Wildlife Tours Uganda
Welcome to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and enjoy the most interesting activity known as the gorilla trekking where you experience the all wildlife of this park.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park that is located in the south western part of Uganda and is a home of over 300 endangered mountain gorillas. It’s also inhabitant for the endangered golden monkeys.
While in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park I discovered many tourist attraction activities like birding, cultural encounters, gorilla trekking, nature walks, mountain climbing and others.
Day one is for arriving at Entebbe international airport and you will be welcomed by our guide and company representative and great each other and thereafter you will be directed up to your hotel of residence for some resting as you prepare for tomorrow’s journey.
Then your journey from Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and with 4×4 Car Hire in Uganda you will start from Kampala and pass via Masaka – Mbarara highway up to Kabale and then to Kisoro up to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Day three after reaching Mgahinga very early in the morning after your breakfast you will head to the park offices with your guide for briefing about the gorilla trekking rules, dos and don’ts and there after you will enter the jungle for the trekking activity with a trained and experienced park ranger.
In the course of the trekking you will be able to sight other species like birds, insects, golden monkeys, trees and other animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and others.
After discovering the swinging mountain gorillas in the tree branches you will be allowed to stay around them for one hour while their plays, behaviours, way of acting and taking some photographs, then after your moment of enjoying you will head back to park offices for certificate awarding and after there you will go for some resting. you will have your dinner and overnight in your hotel of residence.
Next day you can end up your safari by visiting the local people in the community and experience their cultural norms, life styles, their ways of behaving, tools used, cultural dances and others.
Day four will be for leaving Mgahiga Gorilla National Park back to Kampala and very early in the morning after your breakfast you will start your journey back to Kampala and you will pass via Kisoro to Kabale and then use Masaka – Mbarara highway.
Lunch is provided en-route and then proceed with the journey up to Kampala for your return flight from Entebbe international airport back home with a great experience about gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Experience Queen Elizabeth National Park
Welcome to Queen Elizabeth National Park the Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. This park’s diverse ecosystems include of sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands and this makes it an ideal habitat for classic big game like ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 bird species.
This park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and then renamed two years later after a visit by queen Elizabeth ii.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the south western part of Uganda and while in Queen Elizabeth National Park I noticed many tourist attraction activities which take place in the park like birding, chimpanzee tracking, cave, game drives, nature walks, launch trip, cultural heritage and nature trail, and wildlife research tour.
Day one is for your arrival at Entebbe international airport willing and eager to experience the wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will be welcomed by our guide and company representative. There after you will be directed up to your hotel of residence and dinner, overnight is in the same place.
Day two will be for your journey from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park and very early in the morning after your breakfast you will start your journey from Kampala and pass via Masaka – Mbarara highway and then to Bushenyi which leads you to the centre of the park.
You will have some stop over en-route at the equator for some photographs, adventure and snacks then thereafter you will proceed with the journey and also you will have lunch en-route in Mbarara town then proceed with the journey up to the park with your guide and he will locate you in your hotel of residence for some resting after a long journey, dinner and overnight in the same place.
Day three you will go for birding whereby Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home to over 600 species of birds and this is done through game drives where you use the tracks through Kasenyi, north Kazinga plains, and the Ishasha sector and your able to sight many and many birds of different species, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, baboons and elephants. After that you can for some resting with much experience about different species in the park.
Day four you will go for chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge and it teaches the visitors about the ecosystems of Kyambura gorge’s atmospheric underground rain forest including vegetation types, bird identification and behavior, chimpanzee and monkey ecology.
On top of that there is also nature walks and it is the most way to explore the landscapes and wildlife of Queen Elizabeth and the locations include the shady Maramagambo forest, Mweya Peninsula with its scenic views and Ishasha river where you may spot a variety of forest and savanna species as well as having a unique opportunity to get extremely close to hippos on foot.
Day five you will go for other activities like launch trips, cultural heritage and nature trial, wildlife research tour and cave and there after you will head back to Kampala with your guide for your return flight from Entebbe airport back home with a great experience about Queen Elizabeth National Park.
